The Bar is an integral and important part of the Village Hall, is run by a separate committee of volunteers and has over 100 members.

There is a full range of spirits, wines and soft drinks plus real ale, lagers and cider on the pumps.

The Bar organises several events throughout the year including the monthly quiz with cash prize on the 1st Saturday of the month, Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, a Eurovision party in April, a paella afternoon on Summer Bank Holiday and much more.

Opening hours

Friday: 6.00pm - 11.00pm
Saturday: 6.00pm - 11.00pm
Sunday: 2.00pm - 7.00pm

During the skittles season the bar is often open on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 7.00pm - midnight.

If the main door is open and the bar lights are on then we are open for business!

Facilities

We have a radio, TV and usually show You Tube music and International rugby, cricket and football matches. Appropriate licences are in place.

We also have a darts area where regular matches are played.

WiFi - the code is behind the bar.

We even have a card machine in case you don’t have cash!

Membership

Membership is currently only £5.00 a year and runs from 1st September to 31st August. You can of course come into the bar without being a member but you would be charged £1 per visit so it’s well worth the membership.
